Biography

David R. Carlisle, P.A. concentrates his practice on dispute resolution involving trusts, estates and guardianships, and related issues. He is a frequent lecturer on issues relating to estates, trusts and guardianships, and is active in legislative initiatives on behalf of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar as well as private clients. Recently, Mr. Carlisle was appointed by the Department of Elderly Affairs to the Board of Directors of the Statewide Public Guardianship Offices Direct Support Organization.

Mr. Carlisle is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a member of its Asset Preservation Committee. He is a member of the Executive Council of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar and is serving as co-chair of the Section's Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee for 2011-2012. He presently serves on the Probate Litigation, Probate Law and Durable Power and Advance Directive committees. Mr. Carlisle is presently the co-vice chair of the Dade County Bar Association Probate and Guardianship Committee and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Coral Gables Bar and the Dade County Bar Association.

Mr. Carlisle is a 1984 graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and a graduate of the University of Miami.
