David S. Brecher

David S. Brecher is a partner in the Jacksonville office of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP. Mr. Brecher represents plaintiffs and defendants in litigation in the state and federal courts relating to product liability, toxic torts, professional negligence, insurance coverage and bad faith, personal injury and wrongful death, contract disputes and other commercial matters. He is also certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Civil Court Mediator and focuses on the mediation of civil disputes, including pre-suit voluntary mediations, court-ordered mediations and appellate mediations. Mr. Brecher earned his B.S. in Finance from Auburn University in 1992 and his J.D., with high honors, from Florida State University in 1995. During law school, he was a staff member and Associate Editor of the Florida State University Law Review. Mr. Brecher is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, as well as the United States District Courts for the Middle, Southern and Northern Districts of Florida. He holds an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell reflecting the highest distinction available for legal ability and adherence to professional ethical standards. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association and the Jacksonville Bar Association. Mr. Brecher also serves as a member on the Florida Bar Fourth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee and as a Barrister in the Chester Bedell Inn of Court.
