Professional Experience
Dave Fitts, a partner in the Individual Clients Department, represents individuals and their families, advising them on personal and business-related financial planning matters, including income, gift, and estate taxes. A trustee of numerous family trusts, Dave also provides trust administration and advice to owners of closely held businesses, and legal assistance to numerous corporate and private fiduciaries on a variety of issues, including the investment of trust funds, regulatory compliance, and interpretation of documents. Dave prides himself on ensuring that his clients' transactions are not only legally and financially sound, but compatible with their personal and family goals.
A graduate of Bowdoin College and the Boston University School of Law, Dave is a member of the American Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association, and is admitted to the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
