Davison, Copple, Copple & Copple, one of the oldest law firms in Idaho, is a general practice law firm established in the early 1900's. W. Howard Davison was one of the firm's founders, and was joined in practice by his son, Frank H. Davison in the 1920's; both remained with the firm throughout their lives. In 1945, Robert H. Copple joined the firm; he was joined by his nephews, E. Don Copple in 1966 and Terry C. Copple in 1976. Robert Copple practiced with Davison Copple for his entire career, which spanned 50 years.
The firm's philosophy of providing the highest quality legal services possible in a timely and cost-effective manner has remained constant for nearly a century. Currently, the firm is composed of E. Don Copple, Terry C. Copple, Jay M. Gustavsen, two associates, Edward J. Guerricabeitia and Michael E. Band and one of counsel, Heather A. Cunningham.

Since 1945 the firm has served title companies and major financial institutions involved in complex business and real estate transactions; representative clients include Pioneer Title Companies, Washington Federal Savings, Farmers and Merchants State Bank, Maxim Technologies, Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Employee Federal Credit Union. We are also one of the few Idaho firms with an extensive history of representing property owners involved in eminent domain or inverse condemnation proceedings against governmental agencies, and we regularly represent other clients in litigation involving a wide array of other subjects including personal injury and business litigation.
