Dawn's experience is focused on commercial real estate transactions, primarily involving complex commercial leasing and purchase and sale transactions. Her client base includes large institutional landlords as well as a full range of real estate users, primarily in the life sciences and technology sectors.
Her leasing practice encompasses retail and industrial/R&D leasing in addition to office and lab space. Dawn also regularly advises clients on the real estate implications of mergers, acquisitions, or related corporate financing and restructuring.
She is a frequent speaker on issues relating to commercial leasing, including numerous FrameWorks seminars sponsored by UCSD Connect.
During law school, she was an assistant editor of the San Diego Law Review.

· Representation of a national online retailer for the leasing of warehouse/distribution facilities, ranging from 50,000 to 250,000 square feet, throughout the United States
· Representation of a publicly traded technology company in the leasing of a 90,000-square-foot office/ R&D facility in the Sorrento Mesa submarket of San Diego
· Representation of public company in connection with lease transactions throughout the United States and internationally, including coordination, review, and supervision of foreign legal counsel for lease of facilities and acquisition of related capital improvements and equipment in a 260,000-square-foot office and electronic lab building in Bangalore, India
· Representation of a privately held company in connection with its 140,000-square-foot corporate headquarters lease in the Governor Park submarket of San Diego
· Representation of a landlord in connection with the leasing of a 500,000-square-foot industrial park in the Sorrento Mesa submarket of San Diego to various tenants, including lease of over 100,000 square feet to a large, publicly traded life sciences company
