Dayna Finkelstein concentrates her practice in general real estate matters.
While in law school, Ms. Finkelstein served as Comments Editor of the Penn State Law Review. She was also a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board and the Woolsack Honor Society.
Representative Matters
· A private equity firm in the $352 million sale of one of its portfolio companies that is a leading provider of vessel maintenance, repair, overhaul and conversion services to government and commercial customers. The transaction involved the sale of over 500 acres of real estate located in Alabama and Florida.
· A real estate investment trust in their acquisition of 32 office properties located in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
· A leading developer and manager of commercial real estate in the purchase of real estate and certain other operating assets from a group of related New Jersey private companies.
· A real estate investment company in its joint venture purchase of a multifamily portfolio involving properties located throughout the United States.
· A real estate investment company in the sale of one of the largest office buildings in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. The April 11, 2007, Real Estate ALERT listed the sale as one of the U.S.'s largest single-property commercial deals in the first quarter of 2007.
Community Service & Affiliations
Ms. Finkelstein was selected by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia to participate in a trip to Israel with 37 other young professionals from Philadelphia, which took place in the Spring of 2011. The trip included programming oriented toward leadership development, community service, and political, religious and social aspects of Israeli culture.
Ms. Finkelstein has continued her involvement in the Jewish Federation and is currently a member of the Jewish Federation's young leadership development program.
In addition, Ms. Finkelstein has previously served as an executive board member of the JNFuture chapter in Philadelphia. JNFuture is the young professionals division of the Jewish National Fund.
