Partner, Real Estate Department Member, Redevelopment Practice Group Member, Land Use Practice Group Practice Focus Mr. Gaver's practice focuses on issues associated with land use, zoning, real estate development and management. He is experienced in handling a variety of contested matters, including zoning applications, eminent domain and regulatory proceedings, as well as project planning for real estate ventures. He has extensive experience in working with state, county and local planning boards, boards of adjustment, governing bodies, utility and environmental authorities, and counsels clients on an ongoing basis about the regulatory and public policy issues which affect their interests and options. Mr. Gaver represents owners and landlords in connection with contracts and leases and litigates related disputes on their behalf. Mr. Gaver is involved in structuring and restructuring the relationships and interests of equity owners, lenders and partners in related litigation. Representative Matters · Mr. Gaver has served as counsel in several New Jersey landmark cases involving exclusionary zoning and related land use matters. · He has represented the sponsors of the state's largest waterfront development project in land assembly and planning through the permitting, construction and operational phases of the project. · He currently is handling the proposed development of a major hydroelectric facility.
