Deputy Special Master for the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of 2001 (special appointment to the U.S. Department of Justice). Member, Faculty ALI-ABA (Special Masters 2006). Special Master, In re Agent Orange Product Liability Litigation. Rapporteur, "American Arbitration Association Task Force on Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mass Torts," for recommendations released by AAA to serve as a blue print for the resolution of mass tort claims by using a wide range of ADR mechanisms.
