Deborah H. Yellin is a counsel in Crowell & Moring's Washington, DC office. She focuses her practice primarily on preparation and prosecution of patent applications, freedom to operate, validity and infringement opinions, and due diligences. Deborah has experience with pharmaceutical drug delivery technology, pharmaceutical chemistry, molecular biology, and biochemistry. She also has experience in client counseling with regard to domestic and foreign patent filings and patent estate management, foreign patent prosecution, as well as issues relating to Paragraph IV.
Prior to law school, Deborah worked in laboratories in the fields of molecular biology and biochemistry. Some of her research projects include studies of the molecular biology of reproduction and the role of dihydrotestosterone in prostate cancer.
Deborah is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar, the Virginia State Bar and is registered to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
