Deborah K. St. Lawrence Thompson represents a broad array of clients in a variety of commercial litigation, employment law, and products liability matters. Deborah also assists major corporations, educational institutions, businesses and city and state municipal organizations in the development and establishment of employment policies and procedures, and she has extensive experience training managers, supervisors, EEO investigators and staff on EEO and supervisory and disciplinary matters.
During her 13 years of practice, she served as senior trial counsel in the Office of General Counsel to a major university in Washington, D.C., as well as Chief Solicitor of Labor, Employment and Personnel for Baltimore City for five years. Deborah has tried several cases to verdict on behalf of various universities and corporations, handling cases in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. These matters have included products liability, insurance matters and employment law issues.
Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, she was a partner at Brown & Sheehan.
