Debra is an associate in the Real Estate Group. Her practice focuses on litigation in real estate related matters, primarily in the area of mortgage enforcement. Debra has experience appearing before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and various administrative tribunals. She has also conducted several small claims court trials.
Prior to joining Cassels Brock, Debra practiced litigation with an emphasis on real estate matters at a small Toronto law firm.
Debra attended law school at the University of Western Ontario, where she worked as a caseworker at Community Legal Services and received the Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Company Law Award. During her time at law school, Debra also participated in various activities within her school community, including serving as an editor for Res Ipsa Loquitur, Western Law's arts publication. Debra also enjoys travelling and was able to spend a semester abroad at the University of Stockholm during her last year of law school.
