Demetrios G. Kaouris practices in the areas of real estate and commercial litigation. He represents individuals and businesses in a wide-variety of real estate and commercial litigation matters including construction disputes, land-use appeals, and business management disputes. Demetrios also represents homeowners' associations and condominium associations in the resort areas of Maryland's Eastern Shore.
Demetrios has been involved in several favorable published decisions for Miles & Stockbridge clients. Among the cases in which Demetrios has been involved include: South Easton Neighborhood Association Inc., et al v.Town of Easton, 387 Md. 468 (2005); Calloway v. MAMSI Life & Health Insurance Company; MAMSI Life & Health Insurance Company v. Calloway, 375 Md. 261 (2003) and Cambridge Technologies, Inc. v. Argyle Industries, Inc., 146 Md. App. 415, 807 A.2d 125 (2002).
Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge, Demetrios served as a law clerk to the Honorable Dale R. Cathell, Court of Appeals of Maryland.
