Background
Denes Rothschild is an associate in our Toronto office. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2009 after earning a J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington D.C., and an L.L.B. from the University of Ottawa School of Law, cum laude. In Washington, he was awarded a prize for excellence in American corporate tax law. Prior to attending law school, he earned his B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Toronto.
Prior to joining Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, Denes articled and practiced with a national firm's Ottawa office, specializing in commercial litigation and international trade and investment law. Denes recently spent a year seconded as Corporate Counsel to one of the world's largest information technology corporations.
