Overview
Derek Domian concentrates his civil litigation practice on business disputes, professional malpractice and disciplinary matters, and land use, title, condominium, and other real property disputes. He practices regularly in state and federal courts as well as before arbitrators.
Representative Experience
ˇ Representation of a property owner in multi-million dollar litigation arising out of soil and groundwater contamination. The representation involved evaluating the ability of certain administrative agencies to regulate the contaminant, working with experts to assess the source of the contamination, and pursuing a successful cost-recovery action under state statutory and common law.
ˇ Representation of major New England law firms in connection with malpractice and other claims.
