Professional Experience
Ms. Lee serves as development counsel for not-for-profit healthcare institutions including hospitals and AIDS skilled nursing facilities, and community organizations. She also acts as developers' counsel on affordable housing and other not-for-profit projects with expertise in HPD tax-incentive, city capital funds and other programs. In addition, Ms. Lee's practice includes the representation of sponsors of offering plans for new construction or conversions of rental properties to cooperatives and condominiums.
Ms. Lee regularly assists clients with acquisitions, DASNY, tax-exempt bond financings, commercial leasing, construction contracts, construction disputes, land use issues and regulatory issues.
Prior to joining Manatt, Ms. Lee was the Review Section Chief and Deputy Bureau Chief with the Office of the Attorney General, New York State Department of Law, Real Estate Financing Bureau. She also served as the Deputy General Counsel at the Office of Legal Affairs, New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
