· Serves as Chair of the Health & Medicine Practice Group.
· Joined the Firm in 1998.
· He has handled over 1000 medical malpractice cases from inception to closing; has had numerous jury trials to verdict since 1991; represented physicians of all specialties; and defended cases regarding birth injuries, wrongful death, medical misdiagnosis, surgical complications, failure to monitor and failure to treat.
· Currently, Mr. Riemenschneider provides hospital and physician defense in Northern Ohio for numerous hospitals including The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Lakewood Hospital, Fairview General Hospital, Marymount Hospital.
· He provides representation to numerous individual physicians and medical liability insurance carriers such as, Kaiser Permanente, Ohio Permanente Medical Group, Hamlin & Burton, ProAssurance / Medical Assurance and FPIC.
· Provides defense for long-term care facilities including HCR Manor Care.
· He has handled numerous dental malpractice and ophthalmology cases and has briefed and argued in Appellate Court regarding medical/legal issues.
