Unfortunately, the family law system is not the most conducive to settlement or achieving quick results and because of this, the attorneys are the ones who end up with most of the assets of the marriage. My philosophy is to achieve the results my clients desire in the most expeditious fashion possible, even if this means referring them to other attorneys or mediators. At times, a rapid result is not possible. At those times, I attempt to keep my costs at a minimum in any way feasible. There are also times when settlement is not achievable. At those times, I represent my clients vigorously; fighting to obtain the very best court outcome possible.
Truth is also paramount in family matters. I always advise my clients of the best and worse case scenarios and the ones most likely to occur and the costs involved. In this way, my clients are intimately involved in the strategy and outcomes of their cases.
