| Biography | Donna Preston Sturtz is a principal of Miles & Stockbridge P.C. and a resident in the Baltimore office, which she joined in 1991. Ms. Sturtz is a trial and appellate lawyer with a practice focus on the defense of products liability cases. Her defense of products liability cases has involved various different products, including power tools, large industrial machinery (i.e., curling presses, rubber calenders, slitters, paper drills, etc.), various household products (i.e., toaster ovens, coffee makers, etc.), fire protection sprinkler systems, HVAC/heating units and cellulose insulation. Ms. Sturtz also has extensive experience defending physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice cases. Ms. Sturtz's products liability work also includes assistance with Miles & Stockbridge's role as national coordinating counsel for The Black & Decker Corporation, assisting nationally with the defense of cases involving household products, power tools and industrial machinery.
