Doug Siegler, a member of Sutherland's Tax Practice Group, focuses his practice primarily on income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning for individuals. His practice includes not only preparing wills, trust agreements, and related estate-planning documents, but also providing tax and business succession planning advice to owners of closely held businesses. Representative Experience Doug's extensive representative experience includes: · Advising clients on sophisticated transfer tax techniques and the efficient multigenerational transfer of wealth, incorporating gift, insurance and charitable giving programs as appropriate. · Advising on U.S. transfer tax planning for non-U.S. citizens and persons living outside the United States, including special marital deduction issues affecting people married to non-U.S. citizens. · Advising clients on the administration of estates and trusts. · Representing clients in estate and gift tax audits.
