Christian Konrad is the founding partner of Konrad & Partners - Attorneys at law. His practice focuses on international commercial and investment arbitration, commercial law, public international law, construction and real estate law, as well as private clients. He has represented international organizations and businesses in a broad range of disputes involving long-term energy contracts, complex construction contracts, concession agreements, entitlement to natural resources, immunity from jurisdiction, infrastructure projects, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He regularly advises clients on the protection of their investments with focus on Central and Eastern Europe and on the enforcement of arbitral awards and court judgments. He serves both as arbitrator and as advocate and regularly lectures and publicizes about his field of expertise. Prior to founding the firm, Dr. Konrad worked as general counsel of an international construction and development group, as senior associate in the Austrian Advocates Alliance in Vienna, and as counsel in the international arbitration group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Vienna and London.
