Lawrence J. Duplass and Gary M. Zwain, the firm's original founders, are graduates of Tulane University School of Law and have practiced together since 1978. In January of 1987, Duplass, Zwain, Bourgeois and Morton was formed for the purpose of concentrating its efforts in the fields of Casualty Defense, with emphasis upon Products Liability, Toxic Tort and Insurance Coverage Dispute Litigation. Now staffed with 20 attorneys, the firm's practice extends to Construction, Environmental law, Products Liability, Medical Device Litigation, Labor, Employment Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, ADA and Professional Liability Litigation.
