Dylana splits her practice between Farris' offices in Vancouver and Kelowna in the areas of civil and corporate/commercial litigation.
Dylana's corporate/commercial litigation experience has encompassed contract disputes, shareholder disputes (including oppression claims), intellectual property disputes, debt collection and real estate litigation. Dylana also has extensive experience in matters related to insurance, product liability, class actions and advising on and litigating employment related disputes. In her insurance litigation practice, Dylana is well versed in all areas of coverage and liability issues including occupier's liability, municipal liability, university law, social host liability, personal injury, and professional errors and omissions.
Dylana is experienced in mediation and has appeared as counsel at both the trial and appellate levels of the British Columbia court. She has also appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada.
Dylana is actively involved in both the legal and volunteer community. Dylana is a member of the Medical Legal Society of BC, the Insurance, Civil Litigation, Class Action and Employment Law sections of the Canadian Bar Association, B.C. Branch, and she is a long serving volunteer for the Salvation Army BC Pro Bono Program.
