| Biography | Brent Hill is a partner at Waller Lansden practicing primarily in the area of mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Hill has extensive transactional experience in the healthcare industry. In August 2010, Mr. Hill served as lead counsel in the $95 million divestiture of an institutional pharmacy company. In 2009, he represented a group of private equity investors in the acquisition of a distressed pharmacy company. Since 2004,Mr. Hill has represented a publicly traded behavioral healthcare services provider in the acquisition of more than 40psychiatric hospitals throughout the country. His experience includes assisting a privately owned hospital company in the development and syndication of a $60 million hospital and medical office building campus in Texasand the private placement of securities involving outpatient facilities. Outside the healthcare sector, Mr. Hill provides transactional counsel to public and private companies involved in manufacturing, retail, recording and publishing. In 2009, he represented an automaker in the acquisition of four manufacturing plants from automotive supplier that had earlier entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Hill has also represented recording and publishing companies in acquisitions and divestitures. His experience also includes the representation of start-up companies in capital raising efforts, formation and other general corporate matters.
