Edmond J. Bearor is a Jay, Maine native. He is a graduate of the University of Maine and of the University of Maine School of Law.
Ed served as town administrator for Newport, Maine. He is a former member of Maine's Regional Transportation Advisory Committee and a former co-chair of the Municipal Law Section of the Maine State Bar Association.
Attorney Bearor's practice includes Municipal and Government Law, Real Estate Law, and School Law. He has experience with Litigation as well as Mediation and Arbitration cases.
In 2012 Ed was selected as the Best Lawyer of the Year for Land Use and Zoning Law.
Ed has been recognized as a Best Lawyer since 2006, and continues to hold this distinction today. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maine in the Public Management program teaching Local Government Law to upper class undergraduates and graduate students.
Ed Bearor has been the Managing Partner of Rudman Winchell since 2010.
