Eduardo Krupnik practices all aspects of intellectual property law and is an Associate in the London office of Miller Thomson. He is a registered patent agent in Canada and the U.S. and has a Ph.D. in life sciences.
Eduardo has a history of drafting and negotiating complex contractual arrangements that relate to the transfer, commercialization or discovery of intellectual property, including assignments and licenses.
Prior to joining Miller Thomson Eduardo worked in the health sciences where he was involved in the management of Sponsor/Institution/Investigator initiated clinical trials, research collaboration agreements, consulting Agreements, and other research related contractual arrangements. Eduardo has also been involved in policy drafting including policies regarding confidentiality, research contracts, and intellectual property.
He represents clients' interests in technology transfers, joint ventures, licenses, clinical trials, collaborations, consulting and other intellectual properties issues relating to corporate transactions. His skills extend to developing intellectual property strategies to define and protect clients' intellectual assets.
Eduardo has written scientific peer-reviewed papers, abstracts, presentations and co-authored a chapter dealing with enforcement of orders and judgments.
His legal strategy includes understanding a client's business, adding value by providing practical legal advice, with a business minded approach, consistent with the client's goals.
