BiographyEdward S. Meyer received his B.S. in 1971 from Saint Louis University and received his J.D. in 1974 from the University of Wisconsin. Ed was admitted to the Bar in Wisconsin in 1974 and the Bar in Missouri in 1976. For 35 years he has been actively engaged in civil defense litigation, including professional liability, medical and legal malpractice, errors and omissions cases, product liability and premises liability. Listed, Strathmore's Who's Who Registry of Business. Ed is a trained mediator and is certified as a neutral in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Missouri. He is a frequent speaker on insurance defense related topics, and he wrote Chapter 22, "Actions Involving Insurance Agents and Brokers" in the book Missouri Civil Actions published by the Missouri Bar, 1993. He also wrote "The Past, the Present and the Future of Medical Malpractice Liability Legislation" in the monograph Modern Health Care Defense Issues, published by Defense Research Institute, 1997. Has achieved the highest rating for legal ability in Martindale-Hubbell. Court Approved Mediator, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri.
