Ed Borrini represents lenders and borrowers on a broad range of banking transactions, including general syndicated, acquisition, and structured financings, as well as on restructurings. He has wide experience in emerging markets, particularly Africa, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan where he focuses on commodity, energy, and infrastructure transactions. Ed also acts for clients on property financings in the U.K. and across Europe, including financing the acquisition of nonperforming loans backed by real estate assets.
Ed's restructuring experience includes acting for a number of syndicates with respect to restructuring syndicated loans to financial institutions and corporations from Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan, as well as a number of restructurings in the Middle East, using both shari'ah and traditional structures.
Ed regularly acts for The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Meyer Bergman, CarVal Investors, ENRC, British Arab Commercial Bank, and Standard Advisory Limited.
