Eileen Baldwin's practice is concentrated in the area of commercial and asset-based finance involving the representation of institutional lenders and borrowers in structuring, negotiating, and documenting sophisticated financing transactions. She has extensive experience in the financing of regulated health care facilities, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Notably, the trial court held, for the first time in Connecticut, that states are preempted by the Telecommunications Act of 1996 from determining the location of telecommunications facilities on the basis of fears of radio frequency emissions from those facilities. |
