Elena specializes in providing advice on anti-monopoly law. She worked for the Russian Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of the Russian Federation for more than seven years, including as head of the Department for Administrative Procedure, Legal Division of the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of the Russian Federation. Elena represented the interests of companies before the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of the Russian Federation in proceedings considering violations of Russian anti-monopoly legislation and has extensive experience of verifying the compliance of foreign companies with the requirements of anti-monopoly legislation, obtaining the go-ahead of the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of the Russian Federation for transactions, including with foreign participation; performing due diligence of civil contracts, including distribution agreements. Elena has provided legal support for a large number of M&A transactions. She has extensive experience of participating in conferences and seminars. Elena is the author and co-author of numerous articles on Russian anti-monopoly legislation published in Vedomosti, Corporate Lawyer, Kommersant-Dengi, The Legal 500 and The European Antitrust Review. Before joining Pepeliaev Group, Elena was a leading attorney at the Moscow Office of Hannes Snellman; Elena worked as a leading professional of the Corporate Division of the Property and Corporate Governance Department of ZAO INTEKO from 2006 to 2007.
