Eli counsels individuals, institutions, corporations, lenders, public entities, and public-private partnerships involved in real estate transactions and horizontal and vertical construction projects. In particular, he serves on transactions and projects that are publicly supported, including healthcare projects supported by HHS, infrastructure supported by USDA, housing developments supported by HUD and CHFA, infrastructure and remediation projects supported by the Clean Water Fund, and school construction funded by the State of Connecticut.
Eli is one of only a handful of Connecticut lawyers who have earned designation as a LEED Accredited Professional. Eli counsels clients on developing and executing "green" construction programs and works with clients to incorporate LEED and other "green" benchmarks into design, construction, and real estate documents.
