Elissa Sinha is a partner with our Toronto office. Elissa has practiced in our commercial litigation group since her call to the bar in 2003.
Elissa attended law school at Queen's University where she received honours for her work in civil procedure, constitutional law and family law. Elissa also holds a B.A. from Queen's University with a major in English Literature.

- injunctions and interlocutory remedies (including Anton Piller orders, Mareva injunctions and certificates of pending litigation)
- Shareholder disputes

ˇ Elissa has:
- appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, Ontario Court of Appeal, Ontario Divisional Court, Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Canada
- represented U.S. and Canadian television satellite broadcasters in numerous anti-piracy actions
- represented major financial institutions in a variety of banking litigation matters, including fraud, security enforcement, and bills of exchange litigation
- represented victims of multimillion dollar international frauds
- served as an independent supervising solicitor in the execution of Anton Piller Orders
- successfully enforced and recovered on foreign and domestic judgments
- consulted on the 'model' Anton Piller and Mareva orders adopted by the Superior Court of Justice Commercial List
- managed complex, large-scale technologically-dependant litigation files

ˇ Elissa speaks widely on the subject of Anton Piller Orders, interlocutory injunctions and fraud. Recent conferences include the 2009 OBA Civil Litigation Conference and the 2009 ABA International Law Section Fall Meeting.
