Elizabeth is an associate in the Boston office of Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP. Elizabeth enjoys a well-rounded practice that, while it focuses primarily on patent, trademark and copyright litigation, also includes complex commercial litigation, employment, contract and real estate disputes, and criminal matters. Elizabeth represents clients in both state and federal court, including the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. As a former engineer and business analyst, Elizabeth vigorously advocates for the most favorable outcome for her clients while promoting the clients' business and economic interests.
Notable Experience
· Elizabeth has negotiated very favorable settlements for her clients, including a recent outstanding outcome in a patent marking dispute.
· Elizabeth was a member of two trial teams that achieved substantial victories for major branded pharmaceutical companies in Hatch-Waxman litigation in the Southern District of New York, one of which included an award of attorneys fees in excess of $16 million that withstood an appeal to the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and a petition for writ of certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court.
· Elizabeth represented a multi-national corporation in a patent infringement litigation involving 29 patents in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
· Elizabeth represented a multi-national corporation asserting claims in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee for patent infringement, breach of contract, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, unfair competition, deceptive trade practices, and related intellectual property and state law claims.
· Elizabeth was part of a trial team that obtained a multi-million dollar judgment in the Delaware Court of Chancery for the buyer of a leading radio station in the Florida market on its claims for fraud, breach of contract and breach of warranty against the station's seller. In addition to damages and equitable relief, the award included attorneys' fees and costs of more than a million dollars.
· Elizabeth has worked with owners of trademarks to put an end to unauthorized use of their trademarks without litigation and has also successfully represented the interests of trademark owners during trademark infringement litigation.
· Elizabeth has also assisted in the execution of licensing and collaboration agreements for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
· Elizabeth has successfully defended individuals in criminal matters in state courts.

Before Edwards Wildman
During law school, Elizabeth was the Editor-in-Chief of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy. In addition, Elizabeth worked as an intern in the First Circuit Court of Appeals and was a summer associate at the Firm. Before law school, Elizabeth worked as a Civil Engineer for Exxon Research & Engineering and as a Systems Analyst for Andersen Consulting (n/k/a Accenture). As an undergraduate, Elizabeth received the President's Leadership Citation for her role in university leadership.
Besides Edwards Wildman
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys photography, reading for her book club, and freelance writing. Elizabeth also participates in fundraising initiatives for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the March of Dimes and Horizon's for Homeless Children.
