Elizabeth (Liz) Dyer is an associate in Mayer Brown's Chicago office and a member of the ERISA and Private Investment Fund groups. Liz advises clients on ERISA matters relating to the structuring and offering of a wide variety of investment vehicles, including joint ventures, private equity funds, real estate funds, opportunity funds, infrastructure funds, hedge funds, group trusts, bank collective trusts and insurance company separate accounts. In addition, Liz counsels plan sponsors, trustees, investment managers and other service providers with respect to ERISA compliance matters, including reporting obligations and the fiduciary and prohibited transaction rules. Liz also advises clients with respect to ERISA matters in structured finance transactions including securitizations, collateralized loan obligations and collateralized debt obligations.
