Elizabeth Haber Lacy is a partner in the Indianapolis, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. She is a member of the firm's Corporate Department and the firm's Entrepreneurial Services Group. Ms. Lacy represents private equity funds and emerging and mature companies in connection with venture capital and private equity financing transactions. She was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2011 in the area of venture capital law.
Ms. Lacy advises early and later stage companies on equity and debt financings, acquisitions and divestitures, and general corporate matters. As a part of the Entrepreneurial Services Group, she works with companies in developing their capital structures and preparing for angel and institutional financings.
Ms. Lacy graduated in 1987 from Duke University with an A.B. in public policy. She graduated summa cum laude, Order of the Coif in 1991 with a J.D. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Ms. Lacy was with two Chicago law firms prior to moving to Indianapolis.
She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Indiana, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern District of Indiana, the Supreme Court of Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Ms. Lacy is a member of the Indiana and Illinois State Bar Associations.
