Ms. McKinney has extensive experience in working with individuals and families to analyze estate planning needs and potential estate tax liability issues to assist clients in implementing an estate plan to provide for family members while minimizing estate tax liabilities. This work commonly includes preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and living will directives, as well as special needs trusts for disabled family members, charitable trusts and prenuptial agreements.

Ms. McKinney also represents estate fiduciaries, as well as estate beneficiaries, in probate and trust administration issues.

Ms. McKinney has extensive experience in representing business clients, such as corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships with a variety of business and corporate issues. She has advised numerous new business owners with respect to the choice of the entity formed for new businesses. In addition, she has represented business owners in the transition and continuation of closely held businesses in the preparation of asset purchase agreements, buy-sell agreements, shareholder or stock restriction agreements and other business succession planning matters.
