Elizabeth M. Greenwald is a trial lawyer who represents businesses and individuals in a diverse range of commercial and business disputes. Mrs. Greenwald routinely handles all manner of complex litigation matters including, but not limited to, commercial and residential construction disputes, corporate and partnership breakups, breaches of fiduciary duty and fraud in corporate governance, commercial real estate and landlord/tenant disputes, the provision of consumer and commercial financial services, Uniform Commercial Code matters, and a wide variety of business torts and general breaches of contract.
Nancy also advises and represents employers in a wide variety of employment matters including drafting and enforcing restrictive covenants and other non-competition agreements, and litigating claims of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, age discrimination, wrongful discharge, wage and hour issues, defamation and other employment torts. Liz has represented clients in investigative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Maryland Commission on Human Relations, and in matters pending in both State and Federal Courts.
While in law school, Liz was selected to be a member of the University of Maryland's top ranked National Trial Team, and won recognition as a regional champion at the prestigious Northeast Regional Trial Advocacy Competition sponsored by the American Bar Association. Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge, Nancy was a clerk for the Honorable Mickey J. Norman in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.
