Ella is an Associate in the firm's Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Commercial Law Section and is based in the Boston office. She practices in a variety of areas, such as commercial litigation, creditor representation, and assignments for the benefit of creditors.
Before joining Mintz Levin, Ella interned at the Norfolk and Essex counties district attorneys' offices and the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office. Prior to that, she was the owner of a software company and served in the Israeli Defense Forces.
Ella is highly involved in the firm's pro bono activities, representing many individuals in Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings as well as victims of domestic violence. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Boston Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Additionally, Ella is a frequent writer on numerous topics of interest in the bankruptcy field.
Ella is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She received her B.A. in Criminology, summa cum laude, from the University of South Florida (2005), where she was named Outstanding Graduate of 2005, and her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School (2009). Ella is fluent in Hebrew.
