Biography

Emily Wong is a senior associate of Mayer Brown JSM. Emily has extensive experience advising hotel owners and hotel operators in the drafting and negotiation of letters of intent, hotel management agreements and related agreements for around 40-50 hotel, serviced apartment and residences projects in Asia and other continents involving more than 25 brands. These include Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, St Regis, Luxury Collection, Westin, W, Le Meridien, Sheraton, Four Points by Sheraton, Crowne Plaza, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, Raffles, Waldorf Astoria, Hilton, Capella, Jumeirah, Regent, Caesars Palace, Langham Place, Frasers, Miramar, East, Days, Somerset, Shilla and Banyan Tree in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Macau, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Austria, Montenegro, Israel and Sri Lanka.

Emily also advises developers, operators and institutional investors in the drafting and negotiation of share sale and purchase agreements, joint venture/shareholders' and related agreements relating to hotel projects, serviced apartments and real estate in Asia and advises real estate clients on development projects in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China.
