· Negotiated $2.7 million arbitration award in aircraft manufacture licensing dispute.
· Obtained summary judgment dismissing high profile defamation suit against president of direct mail marketing firm.
· Obtained summary judgment holding public official liable under 28 U.S.C. §1983 for violating client's right to freedom of speech under the First Amendment.
· Obtained reversal of personal judgment against a Member of Congress, and later obtained dismissal of the entire suit.
· Defended numerous attorneys and corporate directors sued by the FDIC and the Resolution Trust Corporation.
· Represented construction industry trade association as amicus curiae before North Carolina Supreme Court.
· Defended class action suit against directors of bankrupt company.
