Mr. Franklin has more than 15 years of experience in the field of intellectual property law, including preparing and prosecuting hundreds of patent applications in a variety of technology fields. Mr. Franklin also has extensive experience analyzing patents for a variety of purposes including as preparation for mergers and acquisitions, and the enforcement of patents. As part of his extensive opinion work, Mr. Franklin has provided non-infringement and validity opinions related to patents in various technical areas. Additionally, Mr. Franklin has extensive experience in interference proceedings, licensing, and patent reissues and reexaminations, and in patent and trademark litigation.
