Eric J. Simonson is a member in the commercial litigation group in our New Orleans office. His practice focuses on consumer finance litigation, including defense of class action lawsuits brought against financial institutions. Eric also represents businesses in a wide range of commercial lease disputes, contract disputes, and related commercial litigation matters. Eric has a construction litigation practice as well, which involves both commercial and residential property. While in law school, Eric served as a member of the Loyola Law Review. He was also a member of a National Moot Court team in 1991, and held the position of National Team Coach on the Loyola Moot Court Board in 1992. Eric is the chairman of the firm's recruiting committee. In this role, he is responsible for the management and oversight of lateral and law student recruitment and the firm's summer law clerk program which attracts top talent from law schools to McGlinchey Stafford.
