Known for her unique understanding of municipal and state regulatory law, Erica Garrison assists clients involved in transactions with the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and other local governments. She also works on land use and zoning issues associated with controversial projects, and identifies and obtains state and local incentives for businesses relocating to Tennessee. In addition, Erica performs procurement work for clients, from helping them respond to an RFP to contesting the issuance of an RFP award. She also regularly represents client son a cadre of state regulatory matters before the States' various Boards and Commissions.
Previously employed as an associate attorney with the Metropolitan Department of Law in Nashville, Erica brings a specific understanding of how government works and how best to interact with government. She appreciates the nuanced intersection of law, politics, and policy, which led her to her current practice. Being directly involved in the shaping and development of a client's businesses both challenges and excites Erica.

Erica is married with a young daughter and a cockapoo. She lives in a historic area of Nashville and she and her husband, who is also a lawyer, are both interested and active in politics, traveling and volunteering. She is also an avid reader actively involved in several neighborhood book clubs as well as a member of West End United Methodist Church. Her involvement in organizations outside of work include the Tennessee Repertory Theatre, the Ktichen Cabinet and the Martha O'Brien Center.
