Erik Edward Johis a partner in Hinman, Howard & Kattell's Florida office. He concentrates his practice in Estates, Trusts and Wealth Planning. Mr. Joh uses his knowledge of tax law and of charitable giving rules to counsel individuals, families, institutions and charitable organizations in trust and estate matters.
Mr. Joh previously served as the President and CEO of Cypress Trust Company, an organization offering sophisticated and highly personalized wealth-transfer strategies to high net worth individuals.
Mr. Joh is the vice-mayor of the Village of Golf in Palm Beach County, Florida. He serves as trustee and secretary of the Florida Institute of Technology and trustee of Colby-Sawyer College. He has served as trustee, vice chairman and treasurer of Albany Law School (Union University). Mr. Joh is a trustee of the Gertrude E. Skelly Chairtable Foundation, the Nalen Foundation, and the William J. Conners III and Barbara S. Conners Foundation.
He also served on the Board of Governors, American National Red Cross for more than six years.
