Erin McDowell focuses her practice on environmental and oil and gas business counseling as well as environmental and commercial litigation.
Representative Matters
· Prosecute, defend as well as advise oil and gas clients in a wide range of issues relating to oil and gas interests and leasing rights;
· Successfully defend and advise midstream clients in connection with toxic tort action;
· Advise clients with respect to state and federal environmental regulations, including issues related to water, air, remediation, wetlands and waste, as well as state oil and gas regulations;
· Defend clients in actions arising out of state and federal environmental regulations;
· Represent clients in connection with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) actions, as well as similar programs adopted at the state level;
· Coordinate initiative of natural gas industry representatives and non-governmental organizations for the development of performance standards for natural gas industry;
· Prosecute insurance related claims on behalf of Fortune 100 policyholder against solvent and insolvent insurers.
