Dr. Rodolfo Mezzera (Minister of Education in 1917) started the Firm in 1907 with Dr. Gabriel Terra (later President of Uruguay) joining in 1926 Dr. Ramón Bado (Senator, Minister of Internal Affairs, Minister of Agriculture). Dr. Rodolfo Mezzera Alvarez (Professor of Commercial, Maritime and Aviation Law, and Dean of Facultad de Derecho y Cioncias Sociales), joined in 1935.
