Andy practices primarily in the commercial transactions area with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, the structure and use of Delaware entities, and the rendering legal opinions with respect to business entities and transactional issues. Andy also works closely with members of the Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring section on asset sales under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code and other bankruptcy matters and with members of the Corporate Counseling and Litigation section on corporate governance and litigation matters. Recently, Andy had the opportunity to work with members of both sections on an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of Future Claimants Representatives in Travelers Indemnity Co. v. Bailey. Andy also has represented one of the firm's largest clients, American Home Mortgage, in a large number of asset sales during its bankruptcy.

Prior Employment
Andy participated in Young Conaway's summer program, as both a 1L and a 2L, and joined Young Conaway as an associate immediately after graduating from law school. Prior to attending law school, Andy was an engineer in the process control industry where he provided engineering services related to the DeltaV distributed control system for clients primarily in the life sciences industry, where Andy became familiar with cGMP, control system testing and validation, and electronic records compliance under 21 CFR Part 11.
