Barry McCabe, a member of Sutherland's Litigation Practice Group, resolves complex commercial and construction disputes. He resolves client issues or disputes involving a wide variety of construction projects, including power plants, stadiums, hotels, casinos, and industrial, pharmaceutical, residential and mixed-use commercial projects. He also helps clients resolve problems in complex commercial disputes including business acquisitions, trade secret, intellectual property and derivative actions.
Barry has served as lead counsel in bench and jury trials throughout the country and has handled numerous appeals in federal and state appellate courts. The majority of his trials involve multiple parties and millions of dollars in claims.
In addition to trial work, Barry has conducted many mediations. He regularly advises clients on dispute avoidance, contract drafting, and day-to-day business issues.
Sutherland efforts result in favorable arbitration for client in breach of contract action.
Sutherland prosecutes $22 million claim on behalf of mechanical contractor.
Sutherland secures zero-dollar award as lead counsel in NFL stadium case.
