| Biography | In 1996, Matthew joined the firm's Albany office and initially focused on representing creditors in consumer bankruptcy matters and replevin proceedings. He has expanded his practice and now focuses on multi-jurisdictional commercial and bankruptcy litigation, including representing creditors in complex Chapter 11 matters and adversary proceedings including claim disputes, preference and non-dischargeability actions throughout the Northeast Region and adjacent states. Matthew also represents several national lending institutions with regard to secured transactions, problem loans and wholesale inventory floor plan financing of vehicles and agricultural/construction equipment. His broad experience in this practice area includes the negotiation and preparation of forbearance and recapitalization agreements and the commencement and prosecution of inventory replevin actions. He also represents clients in corporate matters including business formation, shareholder agreements and disputes. In addition, Matthew represents plaintiffs and defendants in general civil litigation matters. Matthew is B/V Peer Rated.
