Faegre & Benson advises on branding strategies, manages trademark portfolios, and helps protect the brands of leading companies around the world.
Our trademark and brand management team is composed of lawyers who dedicate their practices solely or primarily to trademarks, unfair competition and related issues.
Global representation. We provide guidance on availability, use and protection of marks—including strategies for registrations in individual countries and through regional treaties and coordinated worldwide enforcement programs. Our attorneys manage portfolios with nearly 13,000 registrations and applications.
Coordination between our U.S. and European offices provides expeditious service for clients. From our offices in four countries, we work with a worldwide network of trademark experts to provide global representation.
Advertising and Internet. Our lawyers work with clients' advertising and marketing teams to provide guidance on advertising issues and best practices to maximize the goodwill of our clients' marks. We also represent clients on cross-branding and co-branding transactions and sponsorships.
Faegre & Benson handles trademark issues related to the Internet, including domain name disputes, jurisdictional issues and infringement.
