We were counsel for the SIPC trustee in the largest SIPC broker-dealer liquidation in history, and we obtained such substantial recoveries in litigation that all customers and creditors were paid in full. We argued the leading case about insider trading, U.S. v. O'Hagan, to the United States Supreme Court. We have obtained dismissal or summary judgment in nearly all of the securities class actions that we have defended since 2000. We have hands-on experience in e-discovery, class certification, expert issues, trial and settlement.
We advise on and litigate the myriad types of financial transactions that the market offers, including those involving structured investment products, securities offerings and investment manager regulation.
